Jeff is a proud native of Freeport, Illinois, known as the home of the Pretzel. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. Jeff is engaged to be married and has three children and five grandchildren who all bring him immense joy. In his spare time, you can find Jeff indulging in his love for cycling, golfing, and Triathlons. Jeff has spent 26 1/2 years with Mike Molstead Motors, a testament to his loyalty and dedication. He appreciates the strong sense of camaraderie and the emphasis placed on family at Mike Molstead Motors. Jeff is a Certified GM top performer, Corvette Specialist, and RAM Truck Expert, along with many other certifications. He believes that open communication, transparency, and honesty are the keys to building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring they feel confident and informed throughout their entire car-buying journey.
Mike Molstead Motors has been lucky to have Mike as a Sales representative for over 28 years. His expertise lies in helping customers find their ideal vehicle, as well as mentoring his Sales colleagues. Mike is certified in all of our Franchises and is a recipient of the Mark of Excellence award. When he is not busy selling cars, he enjoys bowling at the Bowling Alley and playing a round of golf. Above all, Mike treasures spending time with his loved ones -his family and friends.
Deb has been with Mike Molstead Motors for four years. She believes what sets us apart from the others is the genuine and authentic atmosphere you experience when you walk through our doors. When she’s not at work, Deb cherishes spending time with her loved ones, including her two children Abby and Alex, and her furry companion Ellie. Deb loves interacting with customers and takes pleasure in getting to know each person she meets. She was born and raised in Charles City and attended Hamilton Business College.

He’s happily married with three children and seven grandchildren and loves nothing more than spending quality time with his family. On the rare occasion that he’s not with them, you may catch Jeff on the golf course, swinging his clubs. Jeff has been with our Mike Molstead Motors family for two years. He enjoys the steady workflow and the camaraderie of his colleagues. Jeff takes immense pride in his knowledge of the vehicles he sells and always strives to find the perfect match for each and every customer.
Levi enjoys the day-to-day interactions with customers and takes great pride in seeing them happy with the vehicles they’ve purchased. With 20 years of experience in the Service Management Industry, Levi knows what it takes to keep customers satisfied. Levi is happily married to his wife Ashley. They are blessed with two sons, Beckham and Luka, and their Miniature Pinscher named Hawkeye. He enjoys hitting the gym, playing slow-pitch softball, and making cherished memories with his family. Levi’s passion for his job is perfectly aligned with Mike Molstead Motors’ unique family atmosphere and our commitment to customer care.
Dan has been a sales professional for fifteen years, nine of which he has spent at Mike Molstead Motors. Dan was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but was raised in Charles City. He graduated from Charles City High School and later obtained his AA degree from NIACC. Dan finds joy in meeting new people every day and helping his colleagues achieve their goals. At Mike Molstead Motors, everything centers around family – from the employees to the customers – and Dan is proud to be a part of it. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending quality time with his wife Whitney, their three boys, and their dog Chase.
Nathan has worked at Mike Molstead Motors for seven years and is an integral part of our team. He has recently taken the Sales Manager Position at our CDJR Store. Nathan was born in Liberty, Missouri and raised in Charles City. He is a graduate of Charles City High School and an Alumni of Simpson College. Nathan is married to Hailey and they are blessed with one son, Bryson, as well as two beloved dogs, Ace and Wrigley. He is an avid golfer, enjoys lifting weights and spending time with his family. In his opinion, what sets Mike Molstead Motors apart from the others is our family atmosphere and our customer service. We go above and beyond, and everyone is eager to step in when needed.
Jim has been a part of the team at Mike Molstead Motors for 25 years. He serves as our Finance Manager and enjoys interacting with customers every day to help them purchase their desired vehicles. When Jim is not at work, he likes to spend his free time golfing and fishing. Jim is a devoted family man and treasures his time with his wife Julie, his three children, and five grandchildren. He appreciates the family-oriented atmosphere that Mike Molstead Motors provides. Jim was born and raised in Waterloo and attended Columbus High School.
Zach is a proud husband, Christian, volunteer youth pastor, and parent. He’s been employed with Mike Molstead Motors for 7 years. 3 1/2 of those spent in car sales and the other 3 1/2 spent in service. Zach is passionate about coaching basketball and attending church activities. He studied at Berean Bible College, and was born and raised in Cincinnati. With 5 children and 5 dogs, Zach’s life is always full of excitement. According to Zach, Mike Molstead Motors goes above and beyond to meet its standards of excellence and growth.
Wade values moments spent with his family, making memories. He is married to Janae, who serves as our Marketing Director, and together they have two wonderful children, Jaxson (9) and Avery (11), as well as a dog named Gus. He also enjoys staying active by going to the gym & playing slow-pitch softball. During the summer, their kid’s softball & baseball schedules keep them on their toes. Having joined Mike Molstead Motors just over two months ago, Wade is already building connections with his coworkers and embracing the sales business. Prior to joining our family, Wade worked for Speede Delivery for 11 years. He values the strong employee relationships, the welcoming atmosphere, & exceptional customer service within our team. Known for his outgoing personality, Wade enjoys interacting with others & is often described as someone who can strike up a conversation with anyone. He humorously admits that his wife might say he “can talk to a wall.” It’s simply a part of who he is, and he brings that friendly & approachable nature to work every day.
Renee graduated from Charles City High School and went to NIACC post graduation to pursue two degrees in Agriculture. With a strong work ethic and a drive for her customers, she has become a Master Certified Ford Advisor. Renee is a loving Mother to her seven-year-old son, Granger. Family is incredibly important to her and she cherishes every moment spent with her son. Renee shares her heart with her two dogs Gidget and Squirt, as well as her beloved horse, Tex. Tex even has a special companion, a “seeing-eye pony” named Beans. When she’s not at work Renee can often be found volunteering in her community, lending a helping hand where ever she is needed. She also has a passion for applying bridal makeup, using her skills to make bridal parties feel their most beautiful. Nature is another source of joy for Renee, she loves spending time outdoors with Granger. One of the things that Renee appreciates most about her job is the constant change and variety it brings. No two days are alike, and she thrives on the new challenges that come her way. She is always eager to expand her knowledge and educate herself about her job. Renee truly enjoys adapting and overcoming adversity with the goal of a happy, satisfied customer at the end of the day. She would tell you that our Mike Molstead Motors Family is like no other. We truly have a “no matter what” type of work family, and at the end of the day we have each other’s backs, no matter what. Did we forget to mention, Renee has a soft spot for Iced Coffee?
Michelle was born and raised in Charles City and is a graduate of Waldorf College and the University of Northern Iowa. She and her husband Anthony have made a life in Nashua with their two beautiful daughters. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family. Whether it’s cheering on her daughters at their activities, or watching her Husband flinging dirt at his Figure 8 Races. Not only is Michelle dedicated to her family, but she is also passionate about her work, and the variety of tasks she’s involved in on a daily basis. Michelle loves working at Mike Molstead Motors because everyone treats each other and their customers like family!
Josh has been a part of our Mike Molstead Motors for over 22 years. He’s a Master ASE Technician and recently earned the prestigious GM World Class title in 2021. Josh is happily married to Veronica and takes pride in being a devoted father to his children, Leah and Willa. When he’s not working, you can find Josh pursuing hobbies such as woodworking, beekeeping, gardening, fishing, or golf. He was born and raised in Dougherty, Iowa, and graduated from NIACC. Josh values the family-like atmosphere at Mike Molstead Motors and believes in transparency and honesty. He enjoys working with his colleagues and solving customers’ daily problems. Josh strives to become a better person every day and takes this as a personal challenge.
Derek is a graduate of Nora-Springs-Rock Falls High School and the NIACC Automotive Program. He currently resides in his hometown of Nora Springs with his wife, two sons, and dog. Derek started at an early age working alongside his father in the garage, repairing anything with a motor. When he isn’t wrenching on something you can find him with family and friends camping, fishing, or taking ATV trips. Being able to help customers resolve their vehicle concerns and put them on the road safely again is what Derek likes most about his position at Mike Molstead Motors.
Matt was born and raised in Rockford, where he attended Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock Schools. He has been a part of our family at Mike Molstead Motors for 11 years and enjoys the daily challenges that his job brings. Every day is unique and offers something new for him to learn. When he is not working, you can find him playing a round of golf or spending time hunting. Recently, he went on a hunting trip to South Africa, hunting for Wildebeest, Warthog, and Black Impala. Matt is happily married to Cari, and they have one child.
Paul has been a dedicated employee of Mike Molstead Motors for 27 years. He is happily married to Deneen, and takes pride in being a loving father and grandfather. Paul has a deep passion for vintage cars, and owns a 1946 Ford Coupe and a 1973 Opel GT. When he’s not cruising around in his classic cars, he enjoys fishing and trapping. Paul is a graduate of Charles City High School and served in the United States Air Force for four years. He cherishes the daily interactions he has with his colleagues, and appreciates Mike Molstead’s commitment to the dealership and its employees.
Chad is a Master Chrysler Technician and ASE Certified with 11 years of experience in the automotive industry. He takes pride in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that the job is done right the first time. Chad is happily married to Amanda, who works in our Office. They have four wonderful children and two adorable dogs. If he’s not wrenching on vehicles, you can find Chad watching his kids on the ball field, hitting golf balls on the green, hunting and camping. His passion for excellence is reflected in our state-of-the-art facilities and high standards of quality service. Not only can he fix vehicles, but he’s also built his own gaming computer!
Caleb has been a valued member of the Mike Molstead Motors Family for over twelve years. His passion for repairing and servicing vehicles is rooted in his commitment to making customers happy. Following Graduation from Charles City High School, Caleb attended Wyotech and is a Chrysler Certified Technician. He is happily married to Cheyenne and they have three children; Camri, Corah, and Cohen along with two dogs and a cat. In his free time, Caleb enjoys camping with family and friends, four-wheeling, and golfing.
Kirk is a family man who loves spending his free time camping and woodworking and with his two children. He is a graduate of New Hampton High School and has been with Mike Molstead Motors for two years. With ASE certifications, he is ALWAYS ready for the new challenges that come his way each day. He is passionate about his job because he has the freedom to do what he loves every and because Mike Molstead Motors goes above and beyond to treat our employees like family.
